Recently, I often think of symbols of death
and motifs of fragility of life in art.
Artists always refer to death motifs. Danse
macabre or symbolic skull. We all know the vanitas art and skulls painted by
post - impressionist artists. They started to present the motifs in an ironic way.
I wonder why we tend to visualize the death in an ironic way, and why
we avoid taking this issue seriously?
Ostatnio często myślę o motywach przemijania i śmierci w
sztuce. Śmierć w sztukach wizualnych ma swoje stałe miejsce. Jeśli nie motyw

Zastanawia mnie dlaczego tak chętnie z ironią mówimy o śmierci, a dlaczego tak niechętnie podejmujemy ten temat na poważnie?
